A PASSION THAT
TOOK FLIGHT.

From a personal love of flying to sharing the sky with you.

Sanjay Thakur, owner and pilot of Born To Fly, began paragliding in 2007. His flying journey has taken him across India and Nepal, building the experience behind the brand.

Registered in 2012, Born To Fly is rooted in Dobhi, Kullu–Manali, where we operate directly. We also offer paragliding experiences in Solang Valley and Bir Billing through our partner teams.

The entire team was fantastic, but my pilot/instructor was definitely the highlight of the experience. He has 17 years of experience, and it really showed. He had an excellent understanding of the technical aspects of paragliding and the wind conditions, and he was such a good judge of the conditions that I ended up flying the highest among everyone there!

He was extremely well-mannered, communicated really well throughout, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident. You could genuinely tell that he knew exactly what he was doing.

The GoPro footage was more than enough for me. I don't think the Insta360 was necessary - when you're up in the air for 10–15 minutes, moving the camera around gives you plenty of amazing footage from all the different angles.

The experience was absolutely worth the money. Even the drive up to the take-off point was fun and added to the whole adventure.

After the flight, I also got some amazing photographs from the cameraman for just ₹300, which was totally worth it.

Overall, the entire team was wonderful and made the experience really memorable. But if I had to pick one standout part of the experience, it was definitely my pilot. His experience, knowledge, communication and calm manner made the flight even more special.

Would absolutely recommend this experience! ❤️🪂

We went on a ten minute paragliding session over the beas river which felt longer than that. They were very professional and did great stunts with us. Slightly pricey, though, as the camera cost is 500 extra and they capture photos of you on the wind that cost 200 totally.
